ROCHESTER - Grace Thurston died peacefully on Sunday, July 30, 2015, after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Sherman Roberts and Wyona Hutchinson Roberts.

She was born at home in Strafford, N.H. on July 11, 1939, and lived most of her life in Strafford. She was a member of the Bow Lake Baptist Church. Grace loved her family very much. She had worked at Rochester Shoe, Colby Footwear and retired from Cabletron at 62 to take care of her husband, Calvin Thurston who passed away in 2003.

Grace and Calvin were married for 48 years. Grace leaves behind a daughter, Bonnie Walter and husband Earl of Boscawen, N.H. and a son, Steve Thurston of Rochester, N.H.; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was predeceased by her daughter in law Patricia Thurston, and two sisters Rachel Thurston and Elsie Williams.
