Greater Rochester Author's Fair set for April 25

The third annual Greater Rochester Authors' Fair will be held on Saturday, April 25, from 10:15 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Rochester Public Library.

The fair celebrates the local literary talent of published authors in three offerings: 10:30 am Children, Family and Young Adult; noon, Nonfiction, and at 1:30 p.m., Fiction. Each panel of authors will speak on the creative process, read a section of their book and be available for a short question and answer period. Between the sessions, authors will be on hand to sell and autograph their works.

Participating authors will include: Children, Family, Young Adult: Adi Rule, Sandy Dodge, Rich Wallace, Sandra Neil Wallace, Catherine Geiger and K M Doherty; Nonfiction: Judith Silva, Dennis Dupuis, Lynn K. Devlin, Dennis Duchesneau, Rob Sneddon and Ellen Walker; Fiction: Mary-Ellen Humphrey, R T Donlon, Tony Irons , Ann D. Stearns, Robert C. Varney, Jeanne Clark and Harrison Thorp.

Opening remarks will be made by City Councilor Sandy Keans at 10:15 a.m.. There is no charge to attend the event. Free parking is available at the Library Parking Lot.
