ROCHESTER - A Lafayette Street man was taken into custody Thursday after police say he brandished a handgun while threatening several people on North Main.

The incident unfolded around 8:50 p.m. when police responded to the area of North Main Street near Subway for a report of a disturbance involving a firearm.

Police learned a verbal argument had taken place before a male brandished a firearm and threatened several people.

Officers located and interviewed people that were involved and ended up arresting Dustin King, 28, on four counts of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, all class B felonies.

King was held on no bail pending an arraignment later today.

Class B felonies carry a three and a half to seven year prison term.
