The man in black returns to Rochester Opera House in The Spirit of Johnny Cash, starring Harold Ford on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 8 p.m.

Crowd pleasers Harold Ford and The Cash Band return for a fourth season to enthrall fans of the legendary Johnny Cash and his music. The Spirit of Johnny Cash emanates through tribute artist Harold Ford with his deep Cash baritone and striking resemblance to the country music icon.

Ford, with The Cash Band, re-creates the sound of Johnny Cash and The Tennessee Three. Laura Lucy joins Ford and the band as the captivating June Carter Cash. Ford possesses the stage presence and charisma reminiscent of Johnny Cash, lending the feel of a performance at the Grand Ole Opry.

Harold Ford grew up in the foothills country between the Berkshire and Green Mountains bordering New York State and raised on the old American pioneer songs and music.

As an adult, he spent many years driving cross-country, often with family in tow and settling in towns and villages along the way. These many experiences instill in him a deep identification to Johnny Cash's music and stories.
