Millie

Millie is a shy, but sweet three-year-old mix breed dog. She came to CVHS all the way from Florida and has been anxiously waiting for her forever home for over two months.

Millie can be a little nervous when meeting new people. After she warms up to you, she blossoms into an energetic, playful, and affectionate pup! Millie bonds rather quickly to people once she gets to know them. She enjoys going for long walks and having lots of playtime, and would thrive in an active home.

After burning off some energy, Millie is perfectly content to snuggle up right next to you and relax! Though she can be a bit fearful, Millie is working on building her confidence. Our staff and volunteers can see her making progress every day. It may take some time to earn her trust, but she's worth the effort!

This speckled beauty is looking for an understanding human that is willing to put in some extra time to give her the love and support she needs to feel safe. Millie would benefit from an experienced owner that can provide proper socialization and help her continue to build confidence. She requires a laid-back environment where she can keep making positive progress, without any feline friends and with kids aged 14+. Millie needs to meet any potential canine companions.
