PrintROCHESTER - Janet A. Tremblay, 81, died Saturday, December 31, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 7, 1935, she was the daughter of Edgar and Anna (Lessard) Lamontagne.
She attended Holy Rosary High School Class of 1952. For many years, she was a secretary at several Strategic Air Command Bases, retiring from Pease Air Force Base.
During her retirement, Jan took great pleasure in assisting to raise her grandson, James.
She is predeceased by her brother, Paul Lamontagne and grandson, Westley Haywood Tremblay.
Survivors include her husband, Roger "Butch" Tremblay, a son, Jay and his wife Annie of Rock Island, Ill., her daughter, Julie Tremblay of Rochester and grandson, James Tremblay of Rochester. She also leaves several nieces.
