MILTON - Janet M. Marcoux, 86, a longtime resident of Milton, died peacefully on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Hyder Hospice House in Dover. Born February 27, 1932 in Laconia, the daughter of Fred and Irene (Acton) Chapman, she was raised in Milton, a longtime resident there and also resided in Rochester for many years, most recently she lived at Riverside Rest Home in Dover.
Prior to retirement, Janet worked at Spaulding Fibre Company in North Rochester and Gonic for 36 years.
She loved to dance the Polka with her brother at Rockingham Ballroom. A loving homemaker and mother, she loved her kitty cat "Princess".
Widow of the late Joseph R. Marcoux, Sr., and predeceased by their son Joseph R. Marcoux, Jr., she is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Marcoux, Patricia and husband Ronald Lepene, of Rochester; three grandchildren Brett and wife Shannon Lane, Donald and wife Erin Pelletier, Michael Pelletier; six great grandchildren Dontay, Jack and Eva Pelletier, Jason Noel, Ashley and Drake Lane; also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Fred Chapman, Irene McIntire and brother Robert Chapman.
Her family extends a sincere "thank you" to the staff at Riverside Rest Home and Hyder House for "Grams" loving care.
