ROCHESTER - Janice E. Tyler, 77, of 102 Gooseberry Circle, Rochester, N.H., died at her home on Sunday, October 8, 2017 after a very long battle with cancer. Born February 9, 1940 she was born to the late Marie Bernard and Elmo Saunders in Bethel, Maine.
Janice graduated from Gould Academy in 1958 and married Richard Tyler Sr., her soul-mate, the same year. Richard served in the Navy and together they traveled across the states. In 1968 while stationed in Jacksonville, Janice and Richard welcomed their son Richard Jr. Janice loved being a mother and proudly watched and followed her son's many sports events. Janice had a successful career working as an LPN at various nursing homes. In 1993 Janice became a grandmother to Ashley who was the light of her life. Janice was happiest when spending time with her family, cooking and crafting.
She is survived by her brother Elmo Jr.; her husband Richard Sr.; son Richard Jr., his wife Audra and granddaughter Ashley. She will be missed dearly by her family and her best friend and Aunt Roberta Pevear.
