ROCHESTER - Jean Carolyn Towle, 87, a longtime resident of Rochester, died Monday, November 7, 2016, at Wolfeboro Bay Care. Born November 17, 1928, in Farmington, a daughter of Floyd and Marion (Holder) Towle, she had resided in Rochester for many years.
She was employed for many years as a Telephone Operator with New England Telephone.
A member of the First Baptist Church in Farmington, she was a doll collector, created jewelry with beads, loved her cats and loved her family gatherings.
Survived by her sister: Phyllis Sprague and nephew Kurt Sprague of Winter Garden, Florida, her niece Carolyn and husband Steve Goodwin of Rochester, a niece Vicki, two grandnieces: Susan Funk and Stacy Reynolds, also several great grandnieces and grandnephews and a sister in law Peggy Towle.
