SOMERSWORTH - Jeanette Flanagan, 82, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 following a period of declining health. She was born in Milton on August 15, 1935 the daughter of Napoleon and Hazel (Downs) Marcoux.
She worked at GE from 1965 until she retired in 2002. As an active member of Holy Trinity Church she loved to volunteer for Bingo. She was an avid reader who always had a book in her hand. She enjoyed going out to eat, especially at Wells Steakhouse where she always ordered filet mignon. In the summer you would find her at the beach, which was her favorite place. Above all she looked forward to spending Sunday with her family over a great meal.
She was the widow of Dennis Flanagan and predeceased by a son Richard and daughter Darlene. Survivors include three sons: David and his wife Vicki of Somersworth, Dennis Flanagan Jr. of Somersworth, and Michael Flanagan and his wife Denise of SugarLand, Texas; daughter Denise Gagne and her husband Adrian of Strafford; grandchildren include Lisa Flanagan, Kevin Flanagan, Shannon Flanagan, Peter Flanagan, Heather Comeau, Patrick Flanagan, Sean Flanagan, Taylor Gagne and several great-grandchildren.
