ROCHESTER - Jeannine Antoinette Shevenell, 58, died on Monday, February 6, 2017, at the Hyder Hospice House in Dover, N.H., after a brief illness. She was born, March 21, 1958, the daughter of Philip and Geraldine (Vincent) Paradis in Rochester.
She was a graduate of Spaulding High School, class of 1976. She married Marc J. Shevenell, May 20, 1978.
She was employed at the Strafford County Court House in Dover as a secretary for several years and then went into the shoe business, working for Encore (Zodiac) Shoe in Rochester and Shoe Doctor (Stegmann) in Dover for many years. She started her own successful business in shoes as B & J Enterprises until retiring in 2015.
She is predeceased by her husband, Marc Shevenell , her mother, Geraldine Paradis, her brother, Richard A. Paradis and her father-in-law Richard Shevenell. Survivors include her father, Philip Paradis of Gonic, brothers, Raymond Paradis of Gonic, Dennis Paradis and his wife Sue of Strafford, sisters Theresa Moffett of Dover, Claire Moffett and her husband Jim of Milton, sister-in-law, Linda Paradis, her mother-in law Dolores (Gagne) Shevenell and several in-laws, nieces, nephews , cousins and her precious Rocco and Rudy.
