ROCHESTER - John Otto "Jack" Hodgdon, 66, of Maple Street in Rochester, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at home with his family at his side. Born October 8, 1951 in Rochester, the son of Clayton and Jean E. (Tebbetts) Hodgdon, he was raised in Rochester and has resided there most of his life having lived in Farmington for several years.
Spaulding High School Graduate class of 1969; also had graduated from McIntosh College and New Hampshire College.
An Army veteran he had served in Vietnam, receiving numerous honors as a medic.
"Jack" was a retired custodian working for 28 years for the Rochester School district.
He enjoyed using his computer, watching the history channel, and listening to music, former member of the Graniteers Drum and Bugle Corp.
Survived by his mother Jean E. Hodgdon of Rochester; one aunt and godmother Barbara T. Fecteau of Farmington; several cousins. Predeceased by his father Clayton Hodgdon May 12, 1998; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
