ROCHESTER - Joy Elizabeth Topping, 33, Disabled Army Veteran of Rochester, died on Monday, October 3, 2016, after a courageous twelve year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was the cherished daughter of Richard and Yvonne Topping of York, Maine, beloved Fiancé of Jim Goodwin of Rochester, N.H., loving sister of Amanda Topping of Falmouth, Mass.; Richard Topping Jr., and his wife Rory of Charlotte, N.C.; Gerald Topping and his wife Stephanie of Topsfield, Mass., and Aimee Bucci and her husband Anthony of Charlotte, N.C.; devoted aunt to Colin, Declan, Maeve, Caelyn and Claire; great- niece of Irene Dufour and niece of Thomas Smith both of Framingham, Mass. She leaves behind many friends and relatives.
She graduated from Westborough MA High School in 2000. She was most proud to serve her country in the United States Army during the Iraq war and as an MP she felt privileged to protect the Iraqi people as they voted in their first free election. She was a 2016 Graduate of Empire Beauty School. Her smile and love will be missed.
