July brings summer reading and summer hours

Our Summer Reading program begins Thursday, July 12th. Readers of all ages are encouraged to join us each Thursday morning through August 16 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM for fun, music-themed activities, books, and crafts. Each child will receive a reading log and will decide how many books to read, or how much time to spend reading, throughout the summer. We will host an end of summer party on August 16th to reward and celebrate each child's accomplishments. You can pre-register online here (https://goo.gl/forms/K1UUoV2cduMYfTmo1) , which will help us make sure to have enough craft supplies on hand, but you can also register on the first day. Children of all ability levels are welcome!

Summer hours are almost here! We'll be open a little more on Thursdays and little less on Fridays.
Tues: 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Wed: 12 PM - 7:30 PM
Thurs: 10 AM - 1 PM, 3:30 - 7:30 PM
Fri: 12 PM - 5 PM
Sat: 10 AM - 1 PM
Looking for fun things to do this summer? Don't forget our "Adventure Bags"! These two bags are filled with things to help you enjoy the outdoors. Above is our Nature Adventure Backpack, outfitted with binoculars, a wrist band compass, a bug net, a survival blanket and lots of of other adventure essentials. This and our "Beach Adventure Bag" are both available for check out.
Summer is the time to go outside and explore! Your library is well-stocked with books about nature and outdoor exploration, and we have guides to New Hampshire hikes and scenic places. Ask your librarian for help! We are also lucky to have our friends at Moose Mountains Regional Greenways (http://www.mmrg.info/) , who offer many activities throughout the year. Visit their website for more information.
