ROCHESTER - Kathleen P. "Kay" Pieroni, 82, died Sunday, July 19, 2015, at her home after a period of failing health.
Kay was born in Concord, N.H., on May 25, 1933, the daughter of Peter J. and Mary (Morrison) Pendergast and had been living in Rochester since 1957, moving from Concord. Prior to her retirement she worked as a registered nurse at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, was a past member of the Ladies of the Holy Sepulcher, a former Eucharistic Minister at St. Peter's Church in Farmington, N.H. a past president of the board of directors of the Rochester Child Development Center, and past board member of the Rochester Visiting Nurses.
Surviving members of the family include: her husband, Charles Pieroni of Rochester, N.H., three daughters, Linda Deyak of Dover, N.H., Kathleen Gordon and her husband Brian of Johnston, RI and Maria Curtin and her husband Paul od Westford, Mass., five grandchildren, Zachary Gordon, Francesca Gordon, Anthony Gordon, Aedan Curtin and Owen Curtin, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
