ROCHESTER - Kitty was born Kathleen Ruth Cullinan on May 18, 1942 in Rochester, N.H., to Isabelle and Timothy Cullinan. She lived in Port Charlotte, Florida for more than 40 years. On Friday, January 20, 2017, she passed away in San Francisco, California, surrounded by her family.
Kitty attended Spaulding High School and graduated in 1960. During her years at Spaulding High School she was recognized for her many athletic talents. She married soon after high school and started a family.
Her husband, Daniel V. Hackett, predeceased her. She was the loving mother of Michele Huntoon (Hersey) and Michael Hersey, beloved sister to Patricia LaChance (husband Al), Carol Murphy (husband Bill), Carlene Dumont (husband Marty), Marlene Moore, and Arlene Auclair; beloved grandmother of Kimberly Hersey (Florida), Heather Hersey (Florida), Kayla Pearson (South Carolina), Jason Huntoon (California), Alexis Guerrero, Jose Guerrero, and great-grandmother of Kallan Pearson (South Carolina).
She will be remembered for her big smile and sparking Irish eyes.
