ROCHESTER - Captain Kenneth R. Neenan, 79, of Rochester, died on Saturday, February 24, 2018 surrounded by his family. Born in Salem, Mass.; the son of William Neenan, Jr., and Doris Neenan Foley.
Ken served in the USMC and owned Kenwood Doors in Dover, N.H. He worked as an assistant superintendent at Glen Eagle Golf and Country Club in Naples Florida. He was an avid boater; Captain of several vessels in the Gulf of Mexico, a proud member of the AMA and he enjoyed flying then rebuilding model airplanes.
Survived by his loving wife Bonnie of 58 years; his children Nanci Neenan, North Conway, Debbie Neenan, Effingham, Ken and his wife Donna of Dover, Bill and his wife Laurie of Dover; along with six grandchildren; a great-grandson; many nieces and nephews; is siblings William Neenan, Jackie Michaud, James Neenan, Cynthia Argetes, Paul Neenan, and Frank Foley. He is predeceased by his brothers David Neenan and Richard Neenan.
Our family wishes to thank Wentworth Douglas Hospital and Wentworth Hospice for their compassion and kindness while Ken was in their care.
