ROCHESTER - Kenneth Walter Osborne, 78, formerly of Dewey St died Friday, May 8, 2015, at the Frisbie Hospital after a long illness.

Born October 28, 1936, in Rochester, N.H. he is the son of William and Gretta (Welch) Downing Osborne. Ken was raised in Gonic and raised his family there; he was a graduate of Spaulding High School Class of 1954. He served in the United Sates Army Reserve and later worked at the Portsmouth Ship Yard as an Electrician for 36 years until his retirement. He was a life member of the Rochester Elks Lodge 1393. He enjoyed being a handyman. He also enjoyed his grandchildren, who lovingly called him "Epee". In 1989 they moved to Wakefield, N.H. until returning to Rochester in 2013.

Members of his family include his daughters; Kimberly Lineham and her husband Robert of Brookfield and Pamela Miles and her husband Dale of Rochester, his grandchildren; Lindsey B. Germon, Morgan and Haley Lineham, his siblings; William Osborne, Gloria Buttericks, Nancy Gray, June Chase, and Robert Osborne all of Rochester, his life long friend from childhood through later years, John Watson along with beloved in laws, nieces and nephews; all special to KENNY. He is predeceased by his wife Diane (Datson) Osborne in 2014
