Kids of all ages will enjoy Touch-a-Truck event

ROCHESTER - Area youngsters will get a chance to get an up-close and personal look at emergency and municipal vehicles of all shapes and sizes on June 11.

Frisbie Memorial Hospital is sponsoring a "Touch-a-Truck" event from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. that will include ambulances, construction vehicles, dump trucks, fire trucks, antique fire trucks and police cars.

The event will include free hard hats and ice cream for children as well as hot dog and soda lunches for $1.

The event will be held in the Frisbie employee parking lot across from the hospital on Whitehall Road.

A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, June 12.
