ROCHESTER - Laurette A. (Tanguay) St. Laurent, 68, of East Rochester, N.H., died on Sunday December 6, 2015, after a brief illness.
Laurette was born to Richard and Marie-Jeanne (Raymond) Tanguay in Rochester on November 20, 1947. She graduated from Spaulding high school in 1965.
Laurette was married to Paul J. St. Laurent on March 15, 1967. They were married for 33 years. Laurette worked as an employee of Davidson Rubber for 15 years. She left there to take care of her mother and later her grandchildren who she spoiled rotten. She enjoyed motorcycle rides, camping, cards with her friends, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. In honor of her sense of humor: She also "enjoyed" cleaning and doing laundry for her children (LOL). She was also actively involved in her church and gambling. She was known to frequent the casinos with numerous friends. Her favorite form of communication was inappropriate hand gestures to her friends and loved ones. As you can tell Laurette loved to laugh, too bad it was often at the expense of others. She raised 4 children just like her. She was gentle and kind hearted, and played Mom to many of the youth of Rochester. Her sense of humor and huge heart cannot be replaced. We love you, your #1 son, mini me and little merde. And, yes we know we are in trouble for this obituary. Nous t'aimons beaucoup!
Laurette is survived by John and Lois St. Laurent of Amherst, Tammy and Josh Hamann of East Rochester and Tina and Michael Fowler of Hampton Falls, N.H. Her grandchildren Jade St. Laurent, Jessielynne Brackett, Dominic St. Laurent, Justin St. Laurent, Trevor St. Laurent, Isabella St. Laurent, Tannar Hamann, Maxwell Fowler, Connor Fowler and McKinley Fowler. Great Grandchild Kamryn Huff siblings Roland Tanguay, Raymond Tanguay, Paul Tanguay, Leo Tanguay Ann Jones, and Claire Vermette and troops of nieces and nephews.
Laurette is preceded in death by her husband Paul St. Laurent and son Robert St. Laurent.
