LEBANON - Lebanon's Cleanup Day begins today at 9 a.m., with bags and gloves available at Town Offices on Upper Guinea Road.

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts along with other volunteers throughout town will comb the town's streets for roadside debris after a long winter.

The only road that will not be worked is Route 202 due to safety concerns.

All Lebanon residents are urged to get out and collect debris, including cans, bottles and food wrappers from the road shoulders in their neighborhood. Bags can be left by the side of the road for road crews to pick up during the day.

Road crews will be out in force during the afternoon. Trash should be ready for pickup by 1 p.m., when a free barbecue is scheduled back at Town Offices.
