Lebanon Fire and EMS gets grant money for new portable radios

LEBANON, Maine - Lebanon Fire and EMS announced on Friday it had received a nearly $20,000 grant to buy 11 portable radios.

The grant came in conjunction with the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

The foundation receives numerous grant applications from across the country every year, and Lebanon Fire and EMS was fortunate enough to be chosen, Lebanon Fire and EMS Chief Steven Merrill said in a statement sent Lebanon residents.

"We are grateful for their assistance in our needs," said Merrill.
