ALFRED, Maine - A Lebanon man has been indicted in a domestic violence assault case that occurred this summer.

Gary J. Laroche, 48, of 344 TM Wentworth Road, was formally charged by a York County grand jury earlier this month in connection with the Aug. 7 incident in Lebanon.

Laroche is charged with domestic violence terrorizing and domestic violence assault, for which he has prior convictions from 2008, according to court documents.

Both charges are Class C felonies punishable by up to five years apiece.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant a trial.
