ROCHESTER - A Lebanon man has been arrested on receiving stolen property charges after he was found to have been in possession of a U-Haul truck more than two weeks after it was to have been returned to the dealer.

His arrest occurred on Friday around 6:45 a.m. after a person called police dispatch to report suspicious activity near a construction site on Rangeway Drive, Rochester Police Capt. Jason Thomas said Monday.

When police arrived they found Mark W Skidds Jr., 32, of Lebanon, Maine, near the site, and while he was doing nothing wrong on Rangeway Drive, they found he had a warrant out for his arrest for receiving stolen property, specifically, the U-Haul truck he had allegedly had in his possession on Jan. 11.
