SANFORD - A Lebanon man was arrested on drug and resisting arrest charges on Friday after Sanford Police pulled him over on a traffic stop and found a large quantity of heroin and more than $10,000 in cash inside the vehicle.

Christopher Blier, 31, street address not given, was charged with aggravated trafficking, refusing to submit to arrest, obstructing government administration, suspended registration and sale/use of drug paraphernalia.

It all began when officers were called to Lebanon Street around 8:15 p.m. for a vehicle that had been reported as "all over the road." Officers intercepted the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, during which drugs were spotted in the vehicle, Sanford Police said.

Blier was ordered out of the vehicle but refused and is alleged to have started his vehicle in an attempt to flee.

At that point he was pulled from the vehicle and arrested.

During the vehicle search, 128 gross grams of heroin and $10,170 in cash was found inside of the vehicle.

Blier is being held at York County jail on $50,000 bail pending an arraignment.
