SOMERSWORTH - Louis O. Gagne, 70, died Tuesday, March 15, 2017, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a long illness. Born November 15, 1946, in Rochester, N.H., he is the son of the late Alfred and Antoinette (Duprez) Gagne.
He spent his career serving his country for 23 years in the Navy and Air Force. After his retirement he enjoyed membership in the Knights of Columbus before moving on to become part of the Elks Lodge. He won many championship tournaments with shooting pool, candlepin and 10-pin bowling. He treasured his time with his three grandchildren, Jackson, Royce and Ayva. Putting together challenging puzzles and relishing in outdoor activities like camping and traveling were always enjoyed. He was the former owner of Guppies Chips in Rochester.
Members of his family include his wife Ann (Seau) Gagne, a daughter Renee Gagne and her fiancé Jarod Scott of Sanbornville, and a sister Florence Sherman of Rochester. He is predeceased by his brother Maurice Gagne.
