ROCHESTER - Lucien A. Gagne, 89, died Saturday, June 25, 2016, at his home surrounded by family after a period of failing health. Lou was born in Dover, N.H., on January 14, 1927, the son of Alfred and Jeannette (Letourneau) Gagne and was a lifelong resident of Rochester.
He was a veteran of the Navy, was owner/operator of Lou's Barber Shop in Rochester for 61 years, enjoyed gardening and loved running. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Roland Gagne.
Surviving members of the family include: his wife, Jeannette (Langelier) Gagne of Rochester, two sons, David Gagne and his wife Sheila and Stephen Gagne both of Rochester, three daughters, Karen Gagne of Braintree, Mass., Michelle Nelson and her husband Michael of Rochester, and Lisa Hansford and her husband Scott of Pelham. He also leaves eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
