Lulu came to the shelter because her owner is ill and no longer able to care for her. Lulu may be small but she has a big personality! She is very shy toward strangers at the shelter so she will need an owner who will give her time to adjust to a new home. She would do best in a home with children over the age of 14. After she has warmed up to you, you will see that she is an affectionate lap dog. In fact, she would rather lounge about with you than play with her toys! Lulu has lived with cats and would simply ignore them. If she is to go home with another dog she would do best with a small dog as a companion as large, energetic dogs make her very nervous!
