SOMERSWORTH - A South Berwick, Maine, man who allegedly exposed himself to two minors at the Somersworth Walmart last month was arrested on four felony counts of indecent exposure/lewdness on Tuesday.

Bail for Christopher T. Dastrup, 32, of 395 Main St., Apartment B, South Berwick, was set at $10,000 cash during an arraignment at Strafford County Superior Court today, but can be converted to personal recognizance if he is accepted into a Community Corrections program.

Somersworth Police Capt. Russell Timmons said today that Dastrup was charged with two Class A felonies for exposure/lewdness and two Class B felonies because the two victims in the case were minors.

Timmons said the incidents occurred on Sept. 28 "in a normal shopping area" of the store.

The case will be prosecuted by the Strafford County Attorney's Office.

The South Berwick Police Department assisted in the investigation, a Somersworth press release noted today.

Anyone having information on this case is encouraged to call The Somersworth Police Department at 603-692-3131, or the anonymous Somersworth Crime Line at 603-692-9111.
