MILTON MILLS - Marcus H. Brewer, 86, of Jug Hill Road in Milton Mills, died Friday, May 25, 2018 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.
Born October 25, 1931 in Royalston, Mass., son of Leslie S. and Harriett E. (Whitman) Brewer, he also resided in Wolfeboro, and lived in Milton Mills since 1954.
An.Army veteran serving his country as a mechanic in the Korean War, he was a self employed carpenter and home builder.
Marcus was known to all as a kindhearted man and always ready with a good joke. He often remarked if he ever had the means he would have loved to build homes for those in need. After his retirement, Marcus stayed in constant motion, working in his garden and enjoying things all mechanical.
Survived by his wife of 66 years Bertha L. (Geary) Brewer of Milton Mills and their children, son: Marvin H. Brewer of Milton Mills, and three daughters: Bonnie L. Russell of Rochester, Tammie L. Clark of South Berwick, Maine. and Debbie A. Dahn of Richmond, Va., seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, two sisters: Francis Crosier of Massachusetts and Geneva McPherson of Rochester, also several nieces and nephews.
