FARMINGTON - Marilyn Grace George, 73, of Principal Lane in Farmington, died Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Born May 24, 1945 in Dover, a daughter of Winslow E. and Florence M. (Stackpole) Ricker, she was raised in Somersworth, and resided there many years, also Dover, and East Rochester, most recently has resided in Farmington for over 23 years.
She had worked as an Inspector for Quality Control from Collin & Aikman (Davidson Rubber Corporation) in Farmington for over 37 years.
Marilyn enjoyed sewing, cooking, woodworking, crafts, and working in her flower gardens.
Survived by her husband of 24 years Michael P. George of Farmington; children Robert A. and Lisa Chamberlain of Somersworth, Lisa A. and Joe Hines of Farmington, Lori L. and Joseph Boucher of Rollinsford, Michael P. and Melissa George of Dover, Marcie and Charles Dearborne of Milton; one brother William and Mary Ricker of Milton; one sister Dorothy and David McKnight of Zellwood, Fla.; grandchildren Shawn, Jacob, Kaylee, Lindsay, Joseph, Collin, Sara, Brandon and Ross; great grandchild Colton; many cousins, nieces and nephews; brother in law Robert and Lois George of N. Berwick, Maine, and their children Robin, Daniel and Hillary. Predeceased by her brother Kenneth Ricker.
