Marjorie 'Myra' Tebbetts ... raised in Rochester

LEBANON, Ore. - Myra entered everlasting peace on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.
She was born on April 6, 1925 to Elwin and Helen Lowell in Portland, Maine. She had three brothers, Edwin, Kenneth and Arnold and one sister Erlene.
As a young girl Myra moved to Rochester, N.H. She attended school and graduated in 1943 from Spaulding High School. While living in Rochester, she met the love of her life Arva Paul Tebbetts. They married on October 14, 1944 and welcomed five children together, Paul, Kenneth, Bruce, Debbie and Gary.
The family traveled across the country to move to Huntington Beach, Calif., in 1961 and finally settled in Oregon in 1974 for the remainder of her years.
Myra loved to travel. She and Arva enjoyed many road trips and spent time backpacking through forests, canoeing on many lakes and camping all over the country.
Myra devoted her life to her family and caring for each and every one of them. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to them all.
She is survived by her brother, Edwin of New Hampshire; children, Kenneth of Lebanon, Ore., Bruce of Salem, Ore., Debbie of Newburgh, Ind., and Gary of Independence, Ore.; eight grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arva in 1992, her son, Paul in 1973, brothers, Arnold and Kenneth, sister, Erlene, and great grandchild, Britney.
