ROCHESTER - Marjorie R. Rolfe, 87, of Rochester Hill Road, died on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Colonial Hill Center in Rochester Marjorie was born on May 7, 1930 in Melrose, Mass.; the daughter of Earle C. and Ruth T. (Bell) Stacy.
Margie loved taking care of her family and friends, gardening, reading, watching birds, sewing and going for long car rides. She belonged to TOPS for many years and made many lasting friendships. Her door was always open to anyone, no matter the time of day. She was a creative, caring, and generous soul.
Marjorie is survived by her two children, Micheal W. Rolfe and his wife, Roseann, of Pepperell, Mass., and Nancy T. Richmond of Charlestown; her brothers, James Stacy and John Stacy, and brother-in-law Bob Gray; grandson Adrian Richmond and his wife, Asherah Allen, granddaughters Stacey Rolfe and April Rolfe; three great-grandchildren Isaiah Rolfe, Rosalie Bridge, and Liberty Muschette; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband George W. Rolfe; her grandson Barry Richmond; her son-in-law Bruce Richmond; and siblings Ike, Marilyn, Jackie and Tom.
