MILTON - Martin Chesley died on January 13, 2016, at the age of 53. Devoted husband of 31 wonderful years to April Chesley. Son to Donna Gillespie and husband, Gerry Gillespie, of Ocala Fla. Loving father to Matthew Chesley and his wife, Cherishe Chesley, of Farmington, N.H., and Amanda Chesley and boyfriend, Ron Chenelle, of Manchester, N.H. Predeceased by his father, Douglas Chelsey.
He truly had a great love for his family and especially his grandkids. He leaves behind three adoring grandchildren, Gabriel, Matthew JR and Laycee.
He also leaves behind a brother, Chris Chesley, and his wife, Lynne, of Lebanon, Maine; and a sister, Deborah Sutton, and her husband, Merritt, of Rochester. He has a following of additional friends and family that were fortunate enough to share in the joy of his life.
Martin was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, and could tell you anything you wanted to know about the teams. He loved classic rock and trips to Laconia Bike Week. Before his illness, he had a passion for gardening and landscaping, and he taught his son his love for cars.
He will be sadly missed every day, as one of the most kind and generous people you would ever meet. He's not with us anymore, but those lasting thoughts and memories will live on forever.
There are no present arrangements, but a celebration of life will take place in the summer. Date and time to be determined.
