MILTON MILLS - Join Milton Recreation and the Milton Free Public Library at the Milton Town Beach to celebrate the beginning of summer, the beach opening, and this year's summer reading program "Libraries Rock!" this Sunday from 12 a.m.-3 p.m.

Summer is on its way! We've got some volunteer opportunities to share with you, and a few details about our upcoming summer reading program. We'd also like to extend a big and loud "congratulations" to all the graduating seniors this month - we hope wherever you go you will find great libraries and remember that they're a resource always available to you. Good luck and best wishes.
Do you like gardening or would you like to learn more about how to be a good one? Would you like to help make your library a more beautiful and enjoyable place to visit this summer? Our friend and avid gardener Betty Ann Beam is looking for some help maintaining the veggie and flower gardens that grace the library grounds. Please stop in at the library for more info.
Are you excited for summer reading? We are! This year's theme is "Libraries Rock" and we'll be exploring all the ways in which sounds and music come into our lives. Join us Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 12 through Aug. 16.
Would you like to help organize this year's 4th of July parade? This is a community organized event so all residents of Milton and Milton Mills are welcome to share ideas and help with planning. Please come in and speak to Library Director Betsy Baker or send an email mfpl@metrocast.net.

Betsy Baker is the head librarian at MFPL.
