DOVER - A Milton man has been indicted in a felony assault case that occurred in Rochester in May.

Jonathan Moore, 32, of 143 Governors Road, is charged with strangling a man in Rochester on May 18.

According to the indictment, Moore caused the victim to "experience impeded breathing and/or loss of blood circulation."

The Class B felony carries a prison term of three and a half to seven years at up to a $4,000 fine.

The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down on July 20 and released Wednesday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been presented to warrant a trial.
