Milton Mills' Branch Hill Farms to host outdoor trails 10K

MILTON MILLS - Moose Mountains Regional Greenways on Saturday will present its first Moose Mountains Trail Race, a10K race on undulating trails that wind through the conserved woodlands of Branch Hill Farm at 307 Applebee Road in Milton Mills. The 10K Trail Race will start at 9 am, with registration open from 7:30-8:45 a.m. Advance registration is $25; or $35 on race day. Awards will be presented to the top finishers in each gender and 10-year age groups, as well as to overall winners. Online registration is available until 11:59 pm on Thursday at www.mmrg.info/moose-mountains-trail-race/.

A post-race party will feature complimentary food for racers; food trucks will also be available.

Immediately follow the 10K Trail Race, there will be a 'Kids K' fun run around 0 am. Kids K registration is $5 and all children who finish their race will receive small prizes.

The race will help raise funds to create a continuous regional greenway, connecting existing pathways and developing new trail systems to increase recreational opportunities in the Moose Mountains region.
