LEBANON - Mike Beaulieu of Milton is Lebanon's new Code Enforcement Officer.

Beaulieu, who is also a Milton town selectman, begins his duties next week.

"I'm excited to join the team over in Lebanon," Beaulieu said today. "I think it will be a good team."

He said he has a lot of catching up to do once he begins his new job June 22, including "a lot of filing."

Beaulieu, who has been a contractor building residential and commercial properties for more than 20 years, most recently was working at Forest Pump.

He said being a lead contractor put him in good position to keep up-to-date on most codes, but said vendors and trades people also work to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Beaulieu's term as Milton selectman runs out next March. He said he hadn't decided if he would run again.
