Milton voting set for Tuesday despite nearing nor'easter

MILTON - Unlike last year when Milton was able to postpone its town voting due to an impending snowstorm, that won't be the case this year, Town Administrator Heather Thibodeau said today.

Earlier today Secretary of State William M. Gardner and Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald issued a statement denying any township the ability to postponed Election Day voting.

"We were hoping we'd be able to postpone, but it looks like that won't be happening," said Thibodeau.

The polls will be open from 8 a.m. till 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Milton Assembly of God Church on White Mountain Highway.
