WEST LEBANON - A motorist apparently escaped injury after a serious accident on Champion Street on Thursday
Lebanon Fire and Rescue responded around 5:10 to the one-vehicle crash in the area of 28 Champion St. in which it was reported that it left the road negotiating a sharp corner, glanced off a tree and wound up in woods.
The lone occupant said he was not injured, however had no recollection of the event, according to Lebanon Fire and EMS.
Despite heavy front-end damage, the vehicle's airbag did not deploy.
