MSAD 60's $38.4M schools budget passes easily

NORTH BERWICK, Maine - Voters in North Berwick, Berwick and Lebanon approved a new $38.4 million K-12 budget on Tuesday plus an additional $347,000 for the district's adult ed program.

They also voted to continue the same process of deliberating and voting on the budget for the next three years.

While raw numbers weren't immediately available from Lebanon, SAD 60 personnel in North Berwick today confirmed Lebanon voters approved the budget on Tuesday.

In Berwick the vote was 92-41, while North Berwick OK'd the budget 111-14.

The decision to maintain the same deliberative and voting process also passed easily in both towns.
