N. Berwick woman survives crash, but dies of heart attack

LEBANON - State Police say a North Berwick woman died last night after her car overturned in Lebanon. Troopers and Lebanon Rescue responded to Little River Road in Lebanon for a motor vehicle crash about 9:30 p.m.

The operator, Gloria Dubois, 65, from North Berwick was traveling south on Little River Road when she lost control of her vehicle entering a private driveway then struck a fence and tree and rolled over.

Upon arrival of medical personnel, Dubois was alert but was trapped in the vehicle. After being freed she went into cardiac arrest and could not be revived, state police say,
Dubois may have been suffering from a medical condition prior to the crash according to family members. Trooper Michael Lane is the primary investigating officer and will continue to work with the Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause of the crash and the women's death.
