ROCHESTER - Nancy Brennan Paulding died peacefully at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover on Sunday, July 15, 2018. Nancy was born in Melrose, Mass., on April 5, 1933, the daughter of Frederick and Phyllis (Thayer) Dow.
Nancy grew up in Epping, graduating from St. Mary's High School in Dover in 1951. She went on to attend nursing school at Mass General in Boston and spent many years in the field.
Nancy lived a full and beautiful life. She loved her family immensely, kept a special place in her heart for animals and had a passion for the game of golf.
Nancy is predeceased by her first husband James P. Brennan (1932-1975).
She is survived by her greatest love, best friend and husband of 40 years, Robert; her daughter Linda; her son James and daughter in-law Terri; her son Thomas; her daughter Lisa and son-in-law Blaise; her step-son Robert and daughter-in-law Deborah; her six grandchildren, Aaron, Kasey, Maksim, Addison, Robert, Jennifer and her husband Jason; and her five great-grandchildren, Alex, Skye, Nicholas, Merissa and Daphne. She is also survived by her sister Thayer Dow.
