FARMINGTON - Newell Gene Brewer, 50, of Main Street, died at home on Monday, May 28, 2018 surrounded by family. He was born October 11, 1967 in Rochester, N.H., raised in Strafford, N.H., and has resided in Farmington, N.H., for 20 years.
Over three years ago Newell and his family created the Kindness Food Cabinet, which provides free food and canned goods for the homeless and the less fortunate located in Farmington and Somersworth. They also created The Homeless Tote Bag, personally handing them out to people in need, located at the Dover Library and Rochester Library.
He enjoyed fishing, Nascar "Jeff Gordon Fan," and spending time with family. Newell was recently reunited with his Brewer family.
Survived by his wife and best friend of 35 years but married 23 years Terry A. (Locke) Brewer; two sons Newell Gene William Brewer and Eric Cody Brewer; and special uncle and aunt Pete and Louise Brewer from Washington state. Predeceased by one brother and one sister.
