ROCHESTER - Nicholas "Niko" D. Capodestria, 92, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. He was born April 29, 1925 in Rochester, the son of Dennis and Magdaline (Komi) Capodestria.
A veteran of World War II, Nicholas served 22 months overseas in the Pacific Theater. He worked as a clerk in the family store, D&C General Store, until his retirement. His hobby was scenery painting.
Besides his parents, Nicholas is predeceased by his brothers, Stephen and Harry and sisters, Helen and Atina.
He is survived by his nieces, nephews and close friend, Joanne Sylvain.
