ROCHESTER - Rochester Police say no autopsy results will be released on the man whose body was found in a snowbank outside a Rochester motel New Year's Eve for at least several weeks.

Brandon Littlefield, of Rochester, was found deceased in the snowbank near the Sunset Motel's sign around 11:15 a.m. on Sunday.

The 23-year-old man had been living with his mother at the Sunset Motel on Milton Road, according to Rochester Police Capt. Jason Thomas.

Police were called to the scene for a welfare check after a passer-by told dispatch they had seen the man on the ground and not moving.

Thomas said there are no obvious signs of foul play.

Littlefield had previously had a fixed address in Rochester, but officials weren't sure if he was a long-term resident of the city.

The man's body was found fully clothed with no apparent signs of trauma.

Thomas said on Thursday that no autopsy results will be released until toxicology and hypothermia test results come back from an out-of-state lab. He said those toxicology tests won't likely be known for several weeks.

Meanwhile, a Go Fund Me account has been set up at https://www.gofundme.com/4xtsftc to help the family with funeral costs.

As of today $770 had been raised toward a $2,000 goal.
