One injured in three-car crash at Rochester Crossing

ROCHESTER - One motorist was injured today in a three-vehicle crash on Washington Street at Rochester Crossing.

The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the area of 160 Washington St. when police say a 2018 UHaul van driven by Steven Corbin of Rochester was entering the plaza and struck a 2007 Hummer driven by John Harnois of Lebanon Maine, which had stopped and had begun travelling west.

The collision caused the Hummer to strike a 2005 Mercedes, driven by Cynthia Allen of Wells, Maine, who was stopped across the intersection facing east.

One of the drivers was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

The Hummer and UHaul van were towed from the scene while the Mercedes left under its own power.

This accident is still being investigated and charges are unknown at this time.
