FARMINGTON - The man listed as the property owner of the home where two women were fatally stabbed a week ago says he found them dead when he arrived after returning home on a flight from Florida.

Dean Smoronk, who is listed as the owner of 979 Meaderboro Road on the town of Farmington website, has messaged multiple media entities saying he had nothing to do with the homicides.

News reports indicate he and one of the slain women, Christine Sullivan, 48, had a longtime relationship and split their time between Coral Gables, Fla., and Farmington.

The other woman who was killed, Jenna Pellegrini, 32, is from Barrington. Little is known of her possible ties to Sullivan and Smoronk.

The New Hampshire Attorney General's office has remained tight-lipped regarding details of the case indicating a very active investigation still in its early stages.

Both women died of multiple stab wounds, according to a coroner's report on Tuesday, with Sullivan also sustaining blunt force trauma in the attack.

A cause is still unclear, however drug involvement rumors swirl as a Dean Smoronk, 52, and Christina Marie Cuozzo, 45, of 979 Meaderboro Road, Farmington, were stopped in South Carolina on I-95 after their car pulled into the lane of a Sumter County deputy and almost sideswiped the cruiser in 2014, according to news reports.

During the stop, a K-9 unit was called and suspected methamphetamine was found in Cuozzo's purse and a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine was found inside a fake energy drink along with a small amount of marijuana, pills and an unknown white powder inside a black computer bag, according to the report. Marie Cuozzo has since been identified by law enforcement officials as an alias for Sullivan.

Internet searches also reveal a Dean V. Smoronk of 979 Meaderboro Road, was charged in 2012 with firing a shot through a window of a home on Old Dover Road in Rochester.

Police earlier this week confirmed the investigation expanded into Rochester on Wednesday with evidence gathered at a home on Stillwater Circle. Assistant Attorney General Geoffrey W.R. Ward would not confirm the development, however Rochester Police confirm state investigators are using their headquarters.

Meanwhile, Pellegrini's memorial service is set today at 11 a.m. at Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Road, in Lee.
