ROCHESTER - The Rochester Performance & Arts Center will introduce an all-new cabaret series, featuring Kathy Fink on piano. The event serves as a fund-raiser for the development of the organization.

Fink has directed the music for many local stage productions including Chicago, All Shook Up, Seussical, The Addams Family, Wizard of Oz, and many more.

Fink has been seen at many area theaters as both pianist and musical director. She accompanies the Fourth Street Jazz Choir, and teaches chorus and theater at both Somersworth High School and the Cocheco Academy of the Arts.

The series will feature performances from a variety of local performers and several other acclaimed performers from around the region.

The new cabaret series will have a different theme each month. The first installment in the series is "He Sang/She Sang" - a gender bender cabaret. Performers will be taking on songs that are not typically done by their sex. It should be an entertaining, funny, and an exciting night for all.

He Sang/She Sang will be held Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. Suggested donation of $10. Tickets are available online or at the door. General seating and cash bar available. The Rochester Performance & Arts Center is located at 32 North Main Street, Rochester.
