ROCHESTER - Patrick Dale "Pat" Beaver, 71, of Rochester, died peacefully at his home on Friday, December 14, 2018, lovingly surrounded by family. He was the husband of MaryLou (Kelly) Beaver. Together they celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on November 7.
Born in Crescent City, Calif., on September 16, 1947, he was the son of the late George and Glenivee (Reddick) Beaver. Pat was a graduate of Hazelwood High School in St. Louis, Mo., class of 1965. Upon graduation Pat honorably served in Vietnam on a Patrol Boat River (PBR) as a member of the Brown Water Navy (1965-1967). Most recently Pat worked in real estate at Hourihane, Cormier and Associates in Rochester, retiring due to his illness attributed to Agent Orange.
Pat was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and hoped to instill his love of baseball in all of his children by taking them to games all across the country as they were growing up. But most important to him was just spending time with his family, especially watching his grandson play soccer and flag football.
In addition to his loving wife, MaryLou, he is survived by his two sons, Patrick Beaver-Massone and his husband Ken Massone of Newburyport, Mass., and Tom Beaver and his partner Kathleen Donahue of Beverly, Mass.; his three daughters, Glenivee Terwilliger and her fiancé John Arpino of Beverly, Mass., Melissa Schafran of Albany, N.Y., and Jennifer Schafran of San Diego, Calif.; grandson Barrett Patrick Terwilliger; sisters, Sue Stewart of Columbia, Mo., and Starr Nadler and husband Curt of Centralia, Mo.; sister-in-law, Joanne Martin and husband William of Hillsborough, N.J., and brother-in-law Bruce Kelly of Moretown, Vt.; along with many nieces and nephews.
